GRUPO GLOBO'S OFFICIAL USA LAUNCH OF DIGITAL PLATFORM ‘GLOBOPLAY’ AT THE TEMPLE HOUSE

BRAZILIAN TV GIANT hosts exclusive celebrity filled celebration

Globo, Brazil’s largest media and television company, recently joined the ranks of international streaming platforms with its long-awaited debut of ‘Globoplay’.  Choosing The Temple House for the momentous US launch of the new brand, Globo hosted a riveting event, filled with celebrities, influencers, media, and press.  It was an outstanding night of celebration for Globo, as this was the first step in their international expansion.

United Projection elevated the experiential launch to the next level, using the 360-degree video mapping to help launch the media giants new product.  To start the evening, branded imagery of Globo's logos and successes surrounded guests, and immersive scenes from the original Globoplay series brought guests to some of their favorite Brazilian TV moments (which are now available for streaming). 

After an exciting presentation by Carolina Dieckmann, Marina Ruy Barbosa, Mila Burns, Lázaro and Raphael Corrêa Netto (Globo's International Business Director), the evening turned to dancing, in true Brazilian fashion.  An outstanding surprise private concert by Brazilian superstar Thiaguinho started the party off, followed by a DJ set by Brazilian DJ Cady. Colorful and eccentric visuals enhanced the fun party vibe all night.

 The star studded guestlist included:  Mila Burns, Fernanda Rodrigues, Lázaro Ramos, Carolina Dieckmann, Marina Ruy Barbosa, Ciro Pellicano, Carolina Dieckmann, Martha Graeff, and a plethora of local Brazilian influencers. 

 The Globoplay video streaming service is now available in the USA for the first time is available for download via the App Store, Google Play, and on TV through Android TV, Apple TV and Chromecast.
