LOUIS XIII CELEBRATES “100 YEARS” WITH PHARRELL WILLIAMS
When LOUIS XIII Cognac came thru Miami on their global tour to debut of the “100 Years” initiative, they chose The Temple House to host their stellar Miami event. Louis XIII launched a worldwide initiative with music star Pharrell Williams to save our planet. The campaign, entitled “100 Years,” aims at raising awareness for global warming by creating a musical composition with Pharrell Williams titled “100 Years”—The Song We’ll Only Hear If We Care. The song was recorded on a clay disc and stored it in a safe that is only destructible if submerged in water. If sea level rises, the clay will eventually dissolve, destroying the record and erasing the track to hear by future generations. The plan is ultimately to release the track in 100 years in 2117 for the world to hear, unless the recording is underwater. The idea is to raise awareness across the globe and inspire the future generations to preserve our planet. Ludovic Du Plessis, Global Executive Director, LOUIS XIII, Valerie Loh, Senior Vice President, LOUIS XIII, Justin Meade, Global Marketing Manager, LOUIS XIII, and Steele Cooper, Vice President of Sales, LOUIS XIII, joined hosts Jennifer & Gabriel Montoya to celebrate with many VIP attendees. Guests included NBA legend Scottie Pippen, actor Carlos Ponce, David & Taja Cone, Judge Brownyn Miller, Alan & Ruth Zelcer, Kamal Hotchandani, Claudine DeNiro, Lesli Brown, Michelle Pooch, Malik Williams & Prince; John & Alyssa Jansheski, Judi Piggot, Lord James Bergman, Barry & Missy Skolnick and other Miami socials to learn more about the initiative.
